Ryland Estate’s gardens offer a peaceful and private sanctuary, inspired by romantic 19th century English garden estates.
A sweeping driveway set within an avenue of mature trees leads into the property with glimpses of different garden ‘rooms’ unfolding on either side.
Meandering through a tapestry of rich green foliage and bursts of colour, the driveway is fringed with perennial boarders of peonies, hostas, and hydrangeas, under-planted with bulbs, before arriving at the centrepiece of the property: a commanding lawn framed by mature trees and the Richmond Ranges beyond.
Wander across the expansive lawn and access to more intimate garden spaces unfold, before arriving at the stone fruit orchard, with its promise of delicious summer pickings.
Spring and Autumn are very beautiful seasons in the garden. The stone fruit orchard is a picture with Spring blossom while Autumn heralds wonderful rich colours.
